At The Lobby Espresso Bar the focus is on quick and healthy food admidst the hustle and bustle of the Sydney CBD. We learn from brothers Ari and George that they’re now in their tenth year of running this cafe! With everyone rushing from one meeting to another, time is an important factor. So The Lobby is intent on providing fast and friendly service.
Equally important however is their passion for seasonal and sustainable produce. George and Ari endeavour to stay away from modified products as much as possible. This means they’re very involved in making sure most of their meats and cheeses are Australian, seasonal and organic. One of the reasons they like our bread is because we use organic unbleached flour from Kialla, a milling company that champions sustainable and organic processes.
For your morning feed, you can choose anything from scrumptious breakfast croissants with eggs to a bowl of our Brekkie Toasted Muesli with yoghurt, honey and dates! Yum.
There’s a plethora of lunch staples on the a la carte menu including burgers, pastas and salads for people who have a bit of time to spare in their busy schedule for a sit-down lunch. One of their most popular lunches is the steak sandwich made with organic grass fed eye fillet, tomato, cheddar, caramelised onion, beetroot relish, aioli served on our organic sourdough. Flavourful and vibrant with colour, the sandwich is crusty and delicious.
The Lobby also has a very wide range of our pastries and cakes available in their cabinet, so you can feast on something sweet as well!
