Jamie’s Italian

Post image for Jamie’s Italian

Jamie Oliver’s new restaurant in Sydney has been packed every day. And this is no surprise to me. Teeming with fans and foodies, Jamie’s Italian is keeping it casual. With its vibrant and urbane atmosphere, delicious Italian fare and a space that accommodates up to 200 people, it’s no wonder that Sydney has gone a little bit Jamie-crazy.

But let’s get to the important part. The bread.

Brasserie Bread on display and for consumption

I found out a while ago that Jamie’s team would be taste testing our bread. We even created the Italian Ciabatta especially for Jamie. Needless to say, the sampling went well, and now we’re part of the Jamie’s Italian menu.

Perfect for dipping into delicious olive oil, the Italian Ciabatta is chewy, crusty and porous. And it goes inside that tin of complimentary Italian breads, alongside the restaurant’s housemade rosemary focaccia and crispy carta di musica.

Our champion Sourdough Bakers Round also makes an appearance in the bread selection. All the breads are served with extra virgin olive oil & aged balsamic.

In the dessert section of the menu, our slider brioche buns are the star of the Brioche Con Gelato dish. This decadent dessert comprises lemon marmellata and lemon & strawberry ice cream on our toasted slider brioche buns. Indulgence at its finest!

Special thanks to Tina of Food, Booze and Shoes for letting us use this lovely photo of the Brioche Con Gelato!
