On Tuesday, Brasserie Bread Melbourne invited members from the Yelp crew to come and enjoy a range of fine artisan produce. Owner of The Red Cow, Tom Merkli, sampled a range of delicious Swiss cheeses paired with Brasserie Bread sourdoughs and fruit loaves, whilst Elly Buckley from Ciderhaus served delightful hibiscus cocktails and German Apfelwein throughout the night.
At 6.30pm the Yelpers eagerly arrived, all very keen to try the gourmet produce. The guests were very interested in the varieties of Red Cow Cheese, and the differences between them in terms of production. One particular cheese was the standout on the night: a cheese fondue was served with Brasserie Bread sour cherry loaf. The hard cheeses were loved with Brasserie Bread organic white sourdough, and Yelpers couldn’t get enough of our date & apricot loaf.
Yelpers loved the delicious cocktails Ciderhaus served throughout the night, with a cider base, shot of gin and whole hibiscus flower in each they were enjoyed by all.
With a photo booth competition also running, Yelpers posed with silly European props and Brasserie Bread baguettes and entered their photos onto Instagram with the winning photo rewarded with a bottle of cider courtesy of Ciderhaus. Everyone had a great night socialising and enjoying the great produce.
Thanks to Alan from Photobat for the photos.
