Whoa, how is it 5.30pm already?

So far my first week back at work has consisted of:

  • getting ready to launch the 6 seed sandwich roll
  • mailing out Baking School fridge magnets for August, September, October enrolments. Can you believe we’re booking into mid-January 2010?
  • Booking in October Spring Holidays excursions and Baking classes. (what the what! didn’t I just finish the Winter Hols 5 minutes ago?!)
  • Watching the senior citizens on Botany Golf Course have an easier time in the summery weather
  • Gorging myself on cinnamon buns
  • Organising TwitterBake 2 (Baking with Grains & Seeds)

What’s coming up?

  1. This Sunday, 23 August – James and myself will be heading to the Hyatt in Canberra for their Food & Wine Week launch expo. Be sure to drop by and say hi, I may be a little bleary-eyed from our 6am expedition down to the Capital
  2. New Thomas Dux sampling – Hello Mona Vale, Hornsby and beyond? Dates to be announced soon.
  3. Our ‘French Mountain Bread’ launch – this is by far, the most exciting thing on my calendar. I can’t wait to get started, but the launch campaign is our little secret but what I can reveal is my dear readers and loyal BreadHeads, part of the campaign was formulated from all your comments, feedback and suggestions! Stay tuned to our channel – French Mountain Bread is on its way!
  4. October 31st Festivities – We’ll be having a Brasserie Bread sausage sizzle stall (The office team including yours truly + beer, lots of it) at the AIDS Trust Food & Wine Fair (Hyde Park) on October 31st, and our very sssscccarry Halloween Bake for Kids at the Bakery!
  5. Father’s Day coming up – Time to get creative, ideas anyone?

Plus, Bek’s back from Europe and in the Cafe! Good times indeed 🙂

I’m off to grab a copy of Marie Claire. Baker boss is featured in full baking double spread glory in this month’s issue apparently – it just so happened I went on holidays the day the issue came out. Watch this space!
